8. What are some questions I should ask before hiring a trainer?
   

 

A. Is the trainer certified?

 

B. Does the trainer train at a private gym?

 

C. Is the cost of the gym included in the price of the training package?

 

D. How long has the trainer been training for? (More than two years is good)

 

E. What is the trainer's success rate?

 

F. Does the trainer use fitness goals as a basis for developing fitness programs?

 

G. Does the trainer develop fitness programs in a manner that makes it difficult to fail?

 

H. Does the trainer provide nutritional guidance?

 

I. May you speak with one or two of the trainer's clients?

 

J. How long is a training session? (They should be about 45-55 minutes)

 

K. Does the trainer train more than one client at a time? (Preferably not so you will get undivided attention)

 

L. How long will it take to see results? (Three months is reasonable)

 

M. Does the trainer keep records of your workout program?

 

N. What does a training program cost?

 

O. Does the trainer carry liability insurance?

P. Is the trainer just another dumbbell?
